Ateq B28

ATEQ B28 compact leak tester is designed for the specific requirements of high volume production of plastic parts as well as various foil-coated or insulated components. This instrument is used for leak testing of pouch battery cells, packaging and membrane perforations, etc.

ATEQ B28 is a new Series 6 generation of leak detectors with:

  • new electronic modules
  • new user-friendly interface
  • new accessories and functions

The innovative technology of the Series 6 instruments was created to provide customers with industrial devices that meet the demand for quick and reliable leak testing as well as user-friendly operation.

The ATEQ B28 leak detector head is small in size, so it can be mounted very close to the tested elements, ensuring the best possible measurement conditions. The B28 has also the optional capability to control filling and dumping vacuum around the part to test in a specific enclosure.

ATEQ B28 heads can be operated, programmed and controlled using:

  • B28 Control software enabling the control of networks up to 50 ATEQ B28 heads,
  • PLC controller using EtherNET/TCP communication protocol
  • Leak measurement using air ionization method
  • Max. current: < 1 mA
