Ateq F6900 EC

Medical packaging leak tester

ATEQ introduces the new F6900 EC leak detector, designed for Non-Destructive Integrity Testing of Containers, vials, packages and similar sealed components in the pharmaceutical, food, and electronics industries.

The device is suitable for 100% production line testing, as well as laboratory applications, statistical purposes and off-line testing.

The Measurement System follows the approved industry standard “ASTM F2338-09 – Standard Test Method for Non-Destructive Detection of Leaks in Packages”. The test method is a Recognised Consensus Standard by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), effective March 31, 2006.

ATEQ F6900-EC leak detector advantages:

  • Fast and precise testing
  • Large graphical touch-screen
  • ASTM F2338-09 compliance
  • Customized test chambers for tested products
  • Full results traceability

The innovative technology of the Series 6 instruments was created to provide customers with industrial devices that meet the demand for quick and reliable leak testing as well as user-friendly operation.

  • Graphic user-friendly interface with large touch-screen
  • High test sensitivity – detection of hole size less than 1 µm
  • Leakage measurement by pressure drop method (vacuum or pressure)
  • Various pressure drop measurement ranges (ΔP). Full scale: 500 Pa, 1 kPa, 5 kPa lub 10 kPa
  • Operating modes:
    • ΔP – pressure drop measurement
    • ΔP/Δt – pressure drop rate measurement
    • measurement in leak / flow units (e.g. ml/min)
    • closed component testing
  • ASTM F2338-09 compliance (Standard Test Method for Non-Destructive Detection of Leaks in Packages)
  • Stainless steel casing
  • Non-invasive and non-destructive test methods
  • Cost-effective solution
  • Measuring range for pressure or vacuum
  • Closed component test
  • Customized test chambers
  • Leak & flow calibrator
  • Calibrated leak standard masters (orifice, nozzle)
