Ateq He-490M (helium)

He-490M is the most advanced Helium leak detector for precise detection of extremely small leaks in high vacuum, adapted for automatic or manual operation in industrial quality control stations and laboratories.

The  He-490M leak detector is equipped with an industrial-grade mass spectrometer, designed to detect Helium leaks.

With a quick response time and sensitivity up to 2,5×10-9 atm×cm3/s, it is the most advanced leak detector in the industry, meeting the stringent requirements for robustness, reliability and ease of maintenance that are essential in any industrial environment.

The He-490M leak detector can be fully integrated with our Smart Charge 5 evacuation and backfill station.

  • mass spectrometer operating in high vacuum enables achieving the highest possible measurement sensitivity,
  • is not dependent on the volume of the tested part,
  • is not sensitive to temperature fluctuations,
  • enables leak location.
  • Helium leak detection in high vacuum
  • Leakage location with Helium background suppression
  • Allows quick switching between sniffing and vacuum testing modes
