Y valve

The ATEQ Y-valve is a special leak-proof 3/2 valve.

It may be used for:

• switching test circuits during leak tests, blockage tests or volume measurements,
• construction of complex measurement systems including many testing tools, part chambers,
• switching the test circuit between different leak detectors, flow testers, pneumatic testers,
• automatic connection of a master leak or flow standard to the test circuit in order to simulate leaks (automated calibration),
• fast filling (by-pass) of large parts with air or vacuum,
• protection of leak detectors by venting (external exhaust) parts contaminated with dust, water or oil directly to the environment.

ATEQ Y-valves are available:

• in different sizes:
  • standard – for most typical applications and leak tests at pressures up to 10 bar,
  • mini – for leak testing of very small volumes or tests at pressures up to 80 bar,

• with different fittings sizes:
  • 10/8 mm pneumatic pipe (standard version),
  • 8/6 mm pneumatic pipe (standard version),
  • 6/4 mm pneumatic pipe (standard version),
  • 5/3 mm pneumatic pipe (mini version),
  • 4/2,7 mm pneumatic pipe (mini version),
  • without fittings (internal thread),

• in versions switched by:
  • pneumatic signal (6 bar),
  • electric signal (24 V DC) with pneumatic assistance (6 bar),

• also with:
  • PNP position detection sensor,
  • NPN position detection sensor,
  • without a position detection sensor.
